The future of journalism is here. Right here. Wait, I am sure it's around here somewhere. Has anyone seen the future of journalism? I left it right here. Hey this isn't funny. Am I being punk'd?

Bald Eagle Puget Sound Style
Bald Eagles encountered paddling the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge on the Puget Sound are a little scruffier than the Hollywood models we get here on the Chesapeake.

Paddling Mallows Bay, MD
Paddling among a "ghost fleet" of sunken ships Mallows Bay on the Maryland side of the Potomac two things keep going through my head - This is way cool - and - Really, this is just big litter.
Second paddle of the season, but first of the season with my camera. I am putting it out to the universe, and the two people who actually read this blog, this will be the season that my Chesapeake from the water projects really takes shape. I have my camera setup for the kayak. I hope to stay healthy all summer. And I plan to be out on the water weekly (crossed fingers) collecting images of the Bay and its tributaries. So both of you, check back regularly.
